Harriniva Holiday Centre - This is an easily accesible attraction (forty five minute drive from our Log Cabin in summer) where you can enjoy activities such as Quad Biking, Hiking, Fishing, Mountain Biking, Horse Riding or River Rafting along waters of the Muonio River. Adjacent to Harriniva is one of Europes largest Husky Dog Centres that in the summer houses over 400 working dogs. A guided tour of the centre is great value at only 15 € for a family ( 2 adults and a maximum of 3 children). The tour takes around 45 minutes and you can learn all about the different kinds of Huskies and also get to stroke and hold them.

Arktikum Museum Rovaniemi - Although Rovaniemi is a three hour drive from our Log Cabin, in the summer it is a very enjoyable and stress free experience. At the Arktikum Museum you can learn all about the story of the people of the North while in the Arctic Centre about how humans and the fauna and flora of the Lapland region have adapted and survived in the harsh environment of the Arctic. The Arctic Centre exhibition also concentrates on the changes in the Arctic region.

Santa Park Rovaniemi - is a fantasy attraction built inside a series of underground caves and filled with the warm atmosphere of Christmas. The attraction includes Santa's Workshop where you can watch or work with the elves, The Elf School where you can take Elf lessons and a Shopping Arcade where you can purchase your traditional Lapland themed products.

Santa Claus Village Rovaniemi - A great place to dine in the restaurants, browse the many souvenir shops or go an adventure in the Santa Claus Village. Santa Claus himself can be found every day of the year in his office. The village is also home to The Christmas House Exhibition which covers the most recognised Christmas traditions from around the world.
